Zack Snyder released a teaser video for his next project following his departure from “Justice League” — a short film titled “Snow Steam Iron.”
The teaser seems to follow a young girl who gets wrapped up in a bad situation and ends up in jail. It comes just four days after Snyder tweeted to his followers, “What can you do with your talented friends & family, no money and a weekend?”
He also tagged VERO in the video, a social media platform, on which he shared updates during his time on “Justice League.” According to Polygon, you will have to download the app to watch the short film when it is released — it is unclear when that will be. A representative for Snyder has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.
While we anxiously wait for this mysterious short film, fans can see Snyder’s work in the upcoming “Justice League,” which will hit theaters on Nov. 17.
In May, the director stepped down as director or the DC film following a family tragedy. Joss Whedon filled in to finish the film after Snyder and Whedon had been collaborating together for more than a month.
Snyder’s daughter, Autumn Snyder, died by suicide in March at age 20. Snyder and his wife Deborah Snyder, who is a producer on “Justice League,” had initially taken a short break to mourn, returning to the production after two weeks before stepping aside entirely.
“Justice League” also stars Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams and Amber Heard. Snyder is next serving as a producer on several projects including “Aquaman,” “Gotham City Sirens” and “Wonder Woman 2.”
