The cast of “The Greatest Showman” stopped by James Corden’s “The Late Late Show” Thursday night to perform on Broadway–well, kind of.
Hugh Jackman, Zendaya and Zac Efron, who star in the musical — which was nominated this week for three Golden Globe Awards — took part in Corden’s acting class before the open air production.
Corden seemed to be threatened by Jackman as he ripped up a list of song suggestions from the “Logan” actor and kept calling him “Huge Jackman.”
Once rehearsals were over, it was time to take to the very busy streets of New York City. The gang sang songs from “Guys and Dolls,” “On The Town” and “Fame.”
However, “Crosswalk Musical” was a little different than it’s usual home in Los Angeles — it seems a lot more dangerous with all those taxis — and as Zendaya pointed out, “there was a mugging right over there that we didn’t do anything about. But other than that it was great!”
Corden and Jackman finally work out their differences … only to argue about who, indeed, is the greatest showman.
