If you thought that the upcoming “The X-Files” revival miniseries had been sufficiently teased, think again.
Fox released a new, more than 20-minutes long, super-deluxe mega-teaser on Monday, complete with behind-the-scenes interviews with creator Cris
“I can imagine what that must be like as a fan,” Anderson says in the video. “You see these familiar faces and the familiar crossbeams of light coming out of the darkness and hear that soundtrack.”
Among the many major plot points and characters revealed in the new teaser is a look at Mulder (Duchovny) and Scully’s (Anderson) teenage son William.
During its initial nine-season run, “The X-Files” became one of the most successful television dramas of all time, hitting a ratings high in 1997 when more than 27 million people tuned in to the Season 5 premiere.
“The X-Files” six-episode event series kicks off on Jan. 24 on Fox.
