“World of Dance,” take a bow. On Tuesday, the Jennifer Lopez-led NBC dancing competition scored its top Nielsen rating since the series premiered in May. Another big “America’s Got Talent” lead-in sure didn’t hurt any.

No one was close to NBC last night, when there was only one other original — ABC’s “Somewhere Between” — across the English-language broadcast networks. That show was a non-factor anyway.

How slow was CBS and the gang last night? Telemundo finished in second place in the main demo, and by a good two-tenths of a Nielsen ratings point. CBS did end up as runner-up among overall viewers.

NBC was first in ratings with a 2.4 rating/10 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 11.5 million, according to preliminary numbers. “AGT” at 8 p.m. scored a 2.7/11 and 13.1 million viewers. At 10, “World of Dance” earned a 2.0/8 and 8.3 million viewers.

Telemundo was second in ratings with a 0.7/3, but fourth in viewers with 1.7 million.

CBS and ABC tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.5/2. CBS was second in total viewers with 5.5 million, airing all repeats; ABC was third with 1.9 million.

For ABC, following reruns, “Somewhere Between” settled for a 0.4/1 and 1.5 million viewers.

Fox and Univision tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Fox was fifth in total viewers with 1.51 million, running all repeats; Univision was sixth with 1.46 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 734,000, airing just reruns.
