Wiz Khalifa, Rashida Jones and Joy Osmanski have been upped to series regulars for Season 2 of Fox’s “Duncanville,” which was co-created by Amy Poehler.
Rapper Wiz Khalifa plays Mr. Mitch, who is a favorite among students. Mr. Mitch is “the cool, universally loved teacher, guidance counselor, and occasional gym coach and school nurse,” per Fox’s description.
Jones, who played Poehler’s on-screen best friend on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” plays Mia on “Duncanville.” Mia is Duncan’s on-again, off-again crush, per Fox. She’s equal parts charming and woke — an activist who believes in feminism and individualism.
Osmanski plays Jing, Duncan’s adopted younger sister who idolizes and has a massive crush on her older brother, according to the Fox character description.
“Duncanville” is created by Mike & Julie Scully and Poehler. Season 2 is currently in production and slated to premiere in 2021.
Wiz Khalifa is repped by WME and SMAC Entertainment. Jones is repped by UTA. Osmanski is repped by AVO Talent Agency and Bohemia Group.
