“Winter’s Bone” has received three nominations, including Best Picture, for the 20th annual Gotham Independent Film Awards, which are handed out by the New York-based Independent Filmmaker Project.
“The Kids Are All Right” and “Tiny Furniture” each received two.
Besides “Winter’s Bone” and “The Kids Are All Right,” films nominated for Best Feature are “Black Swan,” “Blue Valentine” and “Let Me In.”
The nominations were announced via a live webcast hosted by critic and TV/radio host Elvis Mitchell. The Gotham ceremony will take place on Monday, November 29 at Cirpriani Wall Street in New York City.
Besides the competitive awards, the Gothams will present special honors to actors Robert Duvall and Hilary Swank, director Darren Aronofsky and Focus Features CEO James Schamus.
