Dan Bucatinsky will reprise his guest role on “Will & Grace,” returning to the NBC sitcom this week after nearly 20 years.
The “Scandal” alum first appeared in a Season 2 episode from the show’s original run, playing Neil, an overly persistent suitor Will (Eric McCormack) couldn’t seem to shake. And judging by a new clip from Thursday’s episode, Will still hasn’t had much success on that front in the intervening years.
“Every time I think I’m rid of him, he pops back up like low self-esteem or Geraldo Rivera,” he quips.
Elsewhere in the episode — the show’s first following a brief hiatus for the Olympics — Grace (Debra Messing) is horrified to realize that she’s dated three men from the same family. Will and Karen (Megan Mullally) get on each other’s nerves at the office until they bond over watching and producing their own little telenovela.
“Will & Grace” airs Thursdays on NBC at 9/8c.
