Warner Bros. has bumped Todd Phillips comedy “Arms & The Dudes” from March 11 to August 19, 2016, the studio announced Thursday.
Jonah Hill and Miles Teller play two young men who win a $300 million contract from the Pentagon to arm America’s allies in Afghanistan.
The film will now open against Focus Features’ animated title, “Kubo and the Two Strings.”
The studio also announced that the Will Ferrell–Amy Poehler New Line comedy “The House” is slated to open on June 2, 2017. The film is about a guy who allows his friends to start a casino in his business when he and his wife burn through his daughter’s college fund.
Sony’s “Barbie” is set to open on June 2 as well.
The sequel to “Project X,” “Project XX,” which was originally dated for Aug. 19, 2016, is now off the schedule.
