Game show contestant Stephen is in absolutely no danger of winning a fortune.
During a lightning round on Wednesday’s “Wheel of Fortune,” a “Song Lyrics” puzzle yielded the letters “S_RF C_ _Y _ERE WE COME,” before participant Stephen hit his buzzer to solve it.

The player, who looked like a deer-in-the-headlights, guessed “Surf Clay Where We Go.” He wasn’t even close — even on the full words in front of his face.
Host Pat Sajak could only muster an “Uhhhh, no.”

One of Stephen’s competitors easily picked up the pieces and solved the puzzle properly, “SURF CITY HERE WE COME.”
Somewhere, beach rock duo Jan and Dean are rolling their eyes and flipping to “Jeopardy.”
