The complete list of every new movie and TV series coming to HBO and HBO Max in January 2022 has been unveiled.
2022 will look a bit different on HBO Max. In 2021, Warner Bros. made every new release film available to stream on HBO Max the same day it was in theaters, but that practice won’t continue this year. Instead, new releases like “The Batman” won’t hit HBO Max until at least 45 days after they hit theaters.
But even without those shiny new titles, there’s much to enjoy on HBO and HBO Max in January. On New Year’s Day, the “Harry Potter” reunion special is available to stream, during which Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and many more from the franchise reunite to discuss the ups and downs of the series on the 20th anniversary of the release of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
