HBO has finally released the a teaser for “Westworld” Season 3, giving fans their first look at series newcomers Aaron Paul and Lena Waithe — and our first real taste of what the real world looks like.
The 1-minute, 40-second clip, which HBO dropped just ahead of the series finale of “Game of Thrones,” is set to Pink Floyd’s “Brain Damage” also shows us Paul and Waithe’s fellow newcomers Scott Mescudi, and Marshawn Lynch, as well as the return of Evan Rachel Wood as Dolores.
And of course the video gives us more questions than answers about where things will go when we leave Westworld (and all the other Delos Destinations) and venture into the real world for season 3. Like, for instance, who is Paul playing and what is his relationship to Dolores going to be?
The third season of the sci-fi series went into production in March.
Based on the film of the same name written by Michael Crichton, “Westworld” was created by husband and wife producing team Nolan and Joy. The duo act as showrunners and executive produce with J.J. Abrams, Richard J. Lewis, Roberto Patino, Athena Wickham and Ben Stephenson. The series is produced by Nolan and Joy’s Kilter Films and Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros.
