‘Chaos Takes Control’ in ‘Westworld’ Season 2 Poster, Fear the Robo-Vulture (Photo)

Is that the Man in Black’s hat?

“Westworld” is really into teasing fans lately — and we mean that in the nicest way.

HBO recently released photos from the upcoming second season and now you’ve got a poster to boot. And yeah, it’s as cryptic as you’d expect it to be.

In the featured art, we see a stormy sky painted in red and gray, above the cracked desert ground. In the center of the image is a vulture — a host vulture, to be exact.

This host — with his spiny body, red eyes and haunting glare — might actually be the most intimidating one we’ve ever encountered. And yes, we’re counting Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) when she’s going all Wyatt on us.

Oh, and if you were wondering whose hat he’s standing watch over we’re pretty sure it’s the Main in Black’s (Ed Harris). But don’t quote us on that, seeing as there appear to be many “black hats” headed our way this season.

Of course, we need to take a minute to read into that new contradictory, but oh-so-“Westworld” tagline: “Chaos takes control.”

All of this new info is brought to you courtesy of executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy and J.J. Abrams. So thank them, not us, for your sleepless night full of theorizing.

See the poster below and pick apart the most recent photos from Season 2 here.

“Westworld” Season 2 premieres on April 22 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
