Jeff Goldblum will lend his voice to Wes Anderson‘s next animated film, and the actor was kind enough to reveal a few of his co-stars, too.
Nerdist reported on Monday that Goldblum said he’ll be joining Bob Balaban, Edward Norton and Bryan Cranston in the “Fantastic Mr. Fox” director’s stop-motion animated film about a pack of dogs.
Goldblum added the film will be “Japanese-inspired,” whatever that means, because he didn’t elaborate during his performance at a recent jazz show in Los Angeles, where he regularly plays with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra.
IndieWire reported last week that the picture about talking pooches is the Oscar-nominated filmmaker’s next project, and preproduction has begun. No other details are available.
Anderson’s production company, American Empirical Pictures, has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment. Reps for Norton and Cranston have also not responded to requests for comment.
