The hamburger chain Wendy’s is joining in the public mockery of it’s rival McDonald’s after the latter tweeted an inscrutable — and seemingly — incomplete Black Friday message.
“When the tweets are as broken as the ice cream machine,” said the account’s official page (and what was likely a very smug 20 something)

The bit of trolling from the company, came after McDonald’s launched this whopper early Friday morning.

And Wendy’s — long known in certain circles as being one of the most ferocious corporate Twitter accounts — didn’t stop there. Like so many meat patties, the brand continued the pile-on in the comments section.
In this one they referenced their famous campaign with chicken nuggets kid Carter Wilkerson, who’s request for free nuggets is now Twitter’s most retweeted post.
We're gonna end up owing ourselves a year of free chicken nuggets at this rate.

The account then went on a field day, responding to randos cheering them on.
This is basically like winning a Twitter Oscar.

McDonald’s has so far not publicly responded to the smackdown, though on Friday morning it did make a joke at its own expense about the erroneous tweet:
