Does Wayne Brady have to choke a Bill? No, but he says he would gladly "slap the shit out of" Bill Maher for making an unfavorable comparison between Brady and President Obama.
Brady vented to Aisha Tyler on her podcast, "Girl on Guy," that Maher has repeatedly likened Obama to Brady to suggest that the president isn't black enough. (Brady is known for his sunny demeanor as the host of "Let's Make A Deal" and "Whose Line Is It Anyway," but sent up his image with a "Chappelle Show" skit in which he famously asked, "Does Wayne Brady have to choke a bitch?")
Brady also suggested that Maher solicits African-American prostitutes.
"That means it's a diss to Obama to be called me because he wants a brother brother," Brady told Tyler. "Just 'cause you fuck black hookers, just 'cause you had that particular black experience… I have to stop myself from getting into it with Bill because I realize the thing is if I had gone on his show, or even doing it online, I'm not going to win. Because as soon as you back off, he still has his platform to say whatever he wants to."
He added that if Maher wants to "know how black Wayne Brady is," he would "gladly slap the shit out of him in front of Coco and Ebony and Fox, the three ladies of the night that he has hired."
He also said that he has respected Maher and his comedy in the past.
A representative for Maher did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
