: The latest show from the Marvel universe follows a family who has to go underground after it’s revealed their children have mutant powers. Parents Reed (Stephen Moyer) and Caitlin (Amy Acker) Strucker team up with a group from the mutant resistance, but that leads to its own set of problems.
“The Orville”: The new dramedy from Seth MacFarlane (“Family Guy”) tells the tale of a space officer who finally gets the chance to captain a ship. However, he has to deal with, among other things like incompetence, his ex-wife (Adrienne Palicki), who’s assigned as his First Officer.
“Ghosted”: Adam Scott and Craig Robinson star in this new action comedy as two average guys who get recruited to investigate instances of the paranormal on a team led by Captain Ava Lafrey (Ally Walker).
LA to Vegas:
The new midseason comedy from Will Ferrell and Adam McKay follows the crew aboard the plane that goes from — you guessed it — Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Kim Matula stars as a suffering flight attendant with higher hopes for herself and Dylan McDermott stars as the pilot who doesn’t seem to know he has to fly the plane.
The Resident:
The new medical drama from “Training Day” director Antoine Fuqua follows three doctors and a nurses as they grapple with the realities of working in the hospital business — everything from malpractice coverups to death to inter-office conflicts.
