If you think terrifying things are about to go down in Hulu’s new thriller “Castle Rock,” from Stephen King and J.J. Abrams, you’d be wrong — because they’re already happening.
That’s what Sissy Spacek’s character says at the end of a new 30-second teaser set to run during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
After several cuts to people looking over their shoulders and looking thoroughly creeped out by something off-screen, a band of creepily-masked figures, and Spacek waking up to a dog creepily staring at her, she’ll barely open the door for someone telling her, “I think that something terrible is going to happen.”
“It’s happening,” a trembling Spacek whispers.
“Castle Rock” is the reimagining of the entire Stephen King canon into one universe and touches on some of King’s most iconic stories and characters.
Along with Spacek, André Holland, Bill Skarsgård, Melanie Lynskey and Scott Glenn star in the series, produced by J.J. Abrams.
You can find “Castle Rock” on Hulu this summer.
