Former “The Bachelor” star Nick Viall is set to appear on Wednesday’s episode of ABC’s “Speechless,” and you can now get a first look at his performance.
In the video, courtesy of E! Online, Viall plays Tyson, a new actor friend JJ (Micah Fowler) meets during a college visit. In the clip, Viall’s character seems to be helping JJ with a scene, but he can’t quite get it right.
“I’m really struggling with my character,” Viall says. “Hopefully I’ll just be amazing when we shoot it for some reason.”
In October, it was announced that the former reality star would return to ABC for the comedy. Viall starred on two seasons of “The Bachelorette,” one season of “Bachelor in Paradise” and was then named the Bachelor for the 21st season. He proposed to contestant Vanessa Grimaldi, but the couple has since split.
Viall also competed on the 24th season of “Dancing With the Stars.”
“Speechless” airs Wednesdays on 8:30 p.m. on ABC. It also stars Minnie Driver, John Ross Bowie, Cedric Yarbrough, Mason Cook and Kyla Kennedy.
