Watch Michael Bublé Serenade James Corden in ‘Carpool Karaoke’ (Video)

The “Late Late” host’s dad comes along to play the sax

The Carpool Karaoke we never knew we needed just dropped, and it’s everything.

Michael Bublé joined James Corden to sing some of the crooner’s most popular hits, including “Just Haven’t Met You Yet,” “Everything,” “It’s A Beautiful Day” and “Love You Anymore.”

Corden stops at a coffee shop, where Bublé orders an iced cappuccino in song, and later Corden’s dad joins the ride with his saxophone. After a scat battle, Bublé admits that his mind has been changed when it comes to the sax, which used to creep him out.

Things got emotional in the second half of the video when Bublé discussed his son getting diagnosed with cancer at three years old (he’s five now).

“It’s so hard to have to acknowledge it because it’s so painful to talk about,” Bublé told Corden. “Obviously we got the diagnosis, and that was it, man. My whole life ended.” The singer recalled his entire family camping out at the hospital while his son underwent treatment.

“He loves Spiderman — we love Spiderman — and I always say to him, Spiderman’s amazing, and Superman’s amazing, but they’re fake. They’re not real. You’re a superhero. You’re my hero,” Bublé continued.

The carpool ride concluded with a rendition of “Home.”
