For those who’ve dreamed of seeing Lin-Manuel Miranda perform “Hamilton” again, the multi-hyphenate entertainer has taken the stage to perform the show one more time — in a much condensed version, at least.
In the clip for Ellen DeGeneres’s digital series “Show Me More Show,” Miranda recaps the life and death of Alexander Hamilton in three minutes, complete with brief snippets of the songs from the hit Broadway play. He’s accompanied by DeGeneres’s 7-year-old presidential expert Macey Hensley, who provides fun facts about some of the historical figures.
Miranda ended his run in “Hamilton” in 2016, but the composer recently announced that he would reprise his role for a brief run in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2019.
