We may need to start taking Kevin Hart’s rap persona, Chocolate Droppa, a little more seriously because it looks like the artist is here to stay and attempting to crown himself the new “sex symbol” of R&B.
Droppa released a music video for his single titled “Push it on Me,” which is off his “Kevin Hart: What Now? (The Mixtape Presents Chocolate Droppa)” mixtape, where he challenges Trey Songz for the “Mr. Steal Your Girl” title.
Once the video opens, Hart — uhh sorry, Droppa — FaceTimes Songz, who is taking a nice walk on the beach and tells him: “You know word on the street is that Droppa is the new sex symbol, right?”
When Trigga expresses his disbelief, the rapper warns him that “Mr. Steal Your Girl is about to have all his girls stolen — Droppa style.”
The rest of the video features the comedian dancing on a mountaintop with a tiger companion, Songz seducing women on the beach and a very bootylicious house party.
Although the song technically belongs to Chocolate Droppa and features Trey Songz, the former has about two verses on the track.
The video has already been viewed over 1 million times.
Chocolate Droppa is currently signed to Motown Records.
