“Get Out’ creator participates in social media craze

Filmmaker Jordan Peele made a surprising entrance on Friday night’s “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” by doing the “Get Out” challenge.

Peele, who wrote, directed and produced the runaway hit film “Get Out,” ran out onto the stage, directly into the camera, then beelining it to stage right. “That’s the first time I’ve done the ‘Get Out’ challenge,” Peele said, casually taking a seat next to Fallon.

Fallon called it a a “nice little Easter egg.”

“That’s the first time I’ve done the ‘Get Out’ challenge,” Peele said.

The Get Out Challenge is a social media craze that was influenced by a very particular scene in the movie.
