Natalie Portman, Ryan Gosling Read Out Jimmy Kimmel’s Oscars ‘Mean Tweets’ (Video)

“Feel like if u went to lunch w Natalie Portman she would only order a hot tea with Lemon and MAYBE some toast,” a Twitter user wrote about the “Jackie” nominee

Oscar host Jimmy Kimmel brought back one of his late-night show’s signature skits, “Mean Tweets,” to plenty of fanfare at Sunday’s show, as Hollywood luminaries were happy to laugh at themselves — or at least give the impression they are.

“Jackie” star Natalie Portman — who received early Oscar buzz for her portrayal of former First Lady Jackie Kennedy before fading late — led off the segment, reading a tweet from someone who mocked her presumed dietary habits.

“Feel like if u went to lunch w Natalie Portman she would only order a hot tea with Lemon and MAYBE some toast,” a Twitter user wrote to the actress. “Definitely not an entree tho.”

Portman then turned to the side to reveal a prodigious (pregnant) belly, telling the tweeter “You’re wrong.”

Best Actor winner Casey Affleck read a tweet from another, which said, “Casey Affleck is the real life version of Billy Bob Thornton’s character in ‘Sling Blade.’”

Miles Teller may have been the target of the wittiest barb, as the “Bleed for This” star couldn’t help but crack a smile when reading the tweet directed at him.

Miles Teller has the face of a guy who would request Gangnam Style at a wedding where he doesn’t know either the bride or groom,” the tweet said.
