TV Guide, Warner Bros. TV Collaborate on Special Comic-Con Issue

The 88-page section will have content solely about Warner Bros. TV shows, with four different covers, and be distributed at Comic-Con before going on sale nationally

Warner Bros. Television Group and TV Guide Magazine are partnering on a special edition of the magazine devoted solely to programming from the studio that will be distributed throughout the five days of the San Diego Comic-Con beginning Monday, July 22.

The magazines with different collectible covers will then go on sale nationally on July 26.

The magazines will have four different covers featuring four of the studio's TV shows — "The Big Bang Theory," "Fringe," "Smallville" and "The Vampire Diaries."

The 88-page special issue will contain features on those four series, along with sections about WBTV series. One will include information about "Chuck," "Human Target," "Supernatural," "Nikita" and "True Blood."

Another will feature WBTV family programming like "Unnatural History" and Warner animated series such as "ThunderCats," "Scooby Doo!" and "The Looney Tunes Show."

The magazine also will offer a sneak peek at the new Superman storyline Grounded, which begins in Superman #701 from DC Comics.
