Warner Bros. has pushed back the release of "Beautiful Creatures" by one day so it lands in theaters on Valentine's Day, the studio announced on Monday.
Alcon Entertainment's adaptation of Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl's best-selling fantasy novel was originally set to be released just one day earlier on Feb. 13.

Written and directed by Richard LaGravenese ("P.S. I Love You"), the film follows two small-town teenagers who uncover dark secrets about each of their families, their history and town, but get tangled in a dangerous web of spells and secrets from which they may never escape.
Alice Englert and Alden Ehrenreich lead the cast with strong supporting actors including Emmy Rossum, Viola Davis, Jeremy Irons and Emma Thompson.
"Beautiful Creatures" is the first of three novels in the popular young adult franchise.
