Warner Bros. has promoted Jeff Tobler to the newly-created role of Television Publicity and Communications senior vice president.
With his new business cards, Tobler will lead WB’s Worldwide Television Marketing team on scripted programming. Blake Bryant will continue to oversee marketing and publicity for Warner’s unscripted programming.
In his new position, Tobler will have oversight of all consumer publicity and strategic business communications related to original programming produced by the Studio’s scripted television production units, per the Burbank-headquartered company. WB and its sister companies are currently producing more than 60 scripted series combined.
Tobler will lead the scripted television publicity staff and its outreach to traditional print and broadcast media, as well as direct-to-consumer social media, Wednesday’s Warner Bros. media release continued. Robert Pietranton will continue as vice president, Publicity & Communications for business and trade communications matters related to scripted programming.
Prior to his ongoing work at Warners, the Columbia College in Chicago grad helped launch The CW back in 2006.
