“The Walking Dead’s” Christian Serratos, who plays Rosita Espinoza, says Sunday night’s midseason finale could deliver an added bite: Someone might be leaving the show for good.
While the star was pretty mum about the details, she did manage to drop a hint or two:
“You can expect ups and downs and things that keep you at the edge of your seat,” Serratos told TheWrap. “People are probably going to go and relationships are probably going to form.”
Fun fact: Serratos, a former model and professional skater, was ranked 65th on Maxim’s “Hot 100” list for 2010.
“We joke about it on-set all the time,” said Serratos. “I’m the girliest girl you’ll ever meet in your life, but I’m the one that shoots the most. I’m the one that likes to get the dirtiest. Actually, I probably shouldn’t say that. Norman (Reedus) actually does like to get pretty dirty on-set.”
Serratos, who joined the show on Season 4, said there was definitely an adjustment period when she first started shooting.
“I was a little apprehensive about the weapons and stunts,” said Serratos. “Not because I don’t think it’s fun, but because, like a normal person, I have a fear of getting hurt. So, it took a little bit for me to warm up to the idea of jumping over fences and being a gunslinger. But now, I guess I do it the most.”
So was she a fan of the show before she joined? And how did she prepare for the role? Her answers might surprise you.
