Rick and Carl Grimes aren’t looking back at prison life when Season 4 of “The Walking Dead” resumes next month.
The father-son duo — played by Andrew Lincoln and Chandler Riggs, respectively — are pictured hiking along railroad tracks in new key art (above) AMC released on Thursday.

“Don’t look back,” blood-red lettering reads, which is a nod to the midseason finale when The Governor (David Morrissey) returned to prison and attempted to take over.
Much like the end of Season 2, when an army of zombies descended upon Hershel’s farm house, the surviving protagonists of the series have been split up and are on the run for their lives.
