"The Voice" coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are getting a new co-worker.
NBC's president of alternative and late-night programming, Paul Telegdy, announced Wednesday that singer/actress Christina Milian has joined the cast of the the singing competition "The Voice," as the series' new social media correspondent.
Milian replaces G4 personality Alison Haislip, who handled the job for the show's first season.

In her new position, Milian — known for musical hits such as "Dip It Low"' and movies such as "Be Cool" and "Pulse" — will appear during the live shows to "engage fans and connect them to artists and coaches from 'The Voice Social Media Room' via Facebook, Twitter, NBC.com and NBC Live," according to the announcement.
Telegdy said that Milian's singing experience "will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition," adding that Milian" is a hugely valuable addition" to the series.
Milian's tenure will begin when "The Voice" begins its second season, which will premiere following Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012.
