"The Voice" is taking its show on the road.
NBC's hit singing competition is following in the footsteps of "American Idol" and sending its contestants out on tour this summer, in a move that will no doubt sustain interest in the series following its season finale on Wednesday.
The tour hasn't officially been announced by the network yet, but musical coach Adam Levine tweeted, " @Javstwtr (aka Javier Colon) & @casey_weston are hitting the road in July for #TheVoice Live Tour. You can thank me later> I'll thank u now bro."
Levine coaches both Colon (pictured) and Weston.
In the meantime, NBC announced on Monday that this Tuesday's performance episode will feature coaches Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton singing the Rolling Stones classic "You Can't Always Get What You Want."
The night's episode of "The Voice" will be further bolstered by guest appearances by Brad Paisley and Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo. Paisley will team up with Shelton to perform their new collaboration "Don't Drink the Water," while Pitbull featuring Ne-Yo will play Pitbull's single "Give Me Everything," from the recent album "Planet Pit."
