‘The Voice’ Blind Auditions: Kelly Clarkson Falls in Love About 2 Notes Into Dude’s ‘Despacito’ (Video)

“Y’all are dumb,” she tells other coaches

Kelly Clarkson’s husband might want to keep an eye on “The Voice” contestant Jorge Eduardo.

During the NBC singing competition’s blind auditions round, the hit show’s newest coach had hearts in her eyes just a few notes into Eduardo’s”Despacito.”

Turning her chair around about one second into his performance, Clarkson told her fellow judges “Y’all are dumb” for not following suit.

Clarkson joined “The Voice” this year. The “American Idol” winner and chart-topping singer said that the backs-turned audition process reminded her of her opera-singing competitions when all of the contestants performed behind screens.

Plus, there’s just something about being a “coach” — “The Voice’s” verbiage — and not a “judge,” which is what “American Idol” calls its panelists.

“I get to be a part of their team and not just judge them and say stuff — I get to actually be involved with them and cultivate their career and where they want to go, and help them navigate this competition,” Clarkson said earlier this year. “And I think that’s my favorite part … that I get to be a coach.”
