ABC’s “How to Get Away With Murder” has booked a special guest star for Season 4 — Viola Davis’ husband Julius Tennon.
Tennon, whose recent credits include “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Criminal Minds” and “Lila & Eve,” is also the co-founder and co-president of Davis’s production banner JuVee Productions.
Details about Tennon’s role and storyline are being kept secret. It is unclear how many episodes he will appear in.
“How to Get Away with Murder” stars Viola Davis as law professor Annalise Keating, a role for which she has collected three Emmy nominations and a win in 2015. Billy Brown, Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber, Liza Weil and Conrad Ricamora also star.
Davis and Tennon have previously shared the screen in CBS’ “Laws of Chance,” “The Architect,” as well as “Custody” and “Lila & Eve,” both of which were produced by JuVee.
“How to Get Away With Murder” will return for Season 4 on ABC on Sept. 28.
