Vin Diesel took to Facebook to share behind-the-scenes photos from the “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage” set.
His first image was captioned with “first day on the sound stage,” showing the actor on a motorcycle in front of a green screen, tangled up with a woman. The second image features director D.J. Caruso and his producers “sitting in wonder as we take in the artistry of the many craftsmen that have built these amazing sets.”
Samuel L. Jackson and Nina Dobrev are set to star in the action film that is looking at a 2017 release.
The first “xXx” film came out in 2002 in which extreme sports athlete, Xander Cage, was recruited by the government to help on a special mission. It made $142 million. The sequel was released in 2005.
