“The View” co-host Raven-Symoné had some advice for Hillary Clinton as the potential Democratic presidential nominee prepares to face off against likely GOP challenger Donald Trump in this fall’s general election.
“If that’s how he feels and he can show his true colors in that way,” the co-host said Friday, discussing Trump’s aggressiveness on the debate stage, “then she needs to come right back at him, grab him by the jugulars and let’s go.”
But moderator Joy Behar was unconcerned about Trump’s combative debate posturing, telling Raven-Symoné that she needn’t worry about Clinton if she were to face Trump in the general election. In fact, Behar said Trump had more to worry about.
“He’s going to have trouble because she’s a female,” Behar said. “If he’s aggressive and bullying a female like that, I think it’ll be harder for him.”
However, the panelists on ABC’s daytime show were in agreement on was that, either way, a Clinton vs. Trump general election would not be a pretty one.
“It’s going to be a ‘Game of Thrones’ election, if [they’re the nominees],” said panelist Michelle Collins. “It’s going to be medieval.”
Behar, for her part, said she was looking forward to the potential match-up, which she warned would lead to “blood on the floor.”
“I can’t wait, to tell you the truth,” she said.
On Thursday’s show, Raven-Symone had declared her plan to “move to Canada with my entire family” in the likely event that “any Republican gets nominated.”
Asked if she was joking, Raven-Symone declared, “I already have my ticket. I literally bought my ticket, I swear.”
