“The View’s” Michelle Collins demanded that Vice President Joe Biden make a decision on whether he will run for President during Tuesday’s episode.
“I’ve never waited so long for a man to commit,” Collins said. “Make up your mind already: yes or no? Biden is taking forever.”
Raven-Symone felt that Biden should stay out of the race, however. “Maybe because I’m more thinking about his personal life,” she said. “He just had a loss in the family, he’s dealing with that. His son died. He’s dealing with that. That’s a lot of stress on his shoulders.”
“There’s a lot of pressure to run for president and a lot of things you have to worry about, and he’s had a very tough life,” Raven-Symone continued. “I think that Hillary [Clinton] and [Bernie] Sanders can just hold it down.”
Collins also threw her support behind another potential candidate: former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg. “I love me some Mayor Bloomberg,” she said. “Bloomberg was one of the best mayors we’ve had in New York City. Let me tell you something, the rats are back. The second Bloomberg got out of office, the rats came back to New York.”
Speculation has been running rampant as to whether or not Biden will seek the Democratic nomination for President, with some reporting he will announce by Wednesday of this week.
“Three sources close to @VP telling me he’s expected to announce he is running but the sources are all urging caution on 48-hr timeline,” Fox News’ chief White House correspondent Ed Henry tweeted.
