Lifetime has found its adult Cathy for its followup to “Flowers in the Attic.”

Rose McIver will play the pivotal role in “Petals on the Wind,” a network representative told TheWrap.

Executive producer Michele Weiss has previously told TheWrap that “Flowers in the Attic’s” young stars Kiernan Shipka and Mason Dye, who played oldest children Cathy and Chris, won’t be back for the sequel as they’re too young for the roles. “Petals on the Wind” will be set in the 1970s, 10 years after the events of “Flowers,” in the South.

A New Zealand native, McIver is represented by WME, Sue Barnett and Associates (Australia), Johnson and Laird Management (New Zealand) and Principato-Young Entertainment.
