Showtime has cancelled the "United States of Tara" after three seasons.
The series starred Toni Collette as a woman trying to balance her family and her multiple personalities. Collette won a 2009 Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for the role.
The series, which debuted in 2009, was created by Diablo Cody and based on an idea from Steven Spielberg.
