NBC and ABC had their usual Monday “The Voice” and “Dancing With the Stars” split, with the former taking the key demo and the latter topping total viewers.
CBS finished third outright, as “2 Broke Girls” and “Mike & Molly” slipped double digits among adults 18-49. There was some good news for the broadcaster, however, as “Stalker” returned up 17 percent in a time period premiere.
Some networks may have been preempted in Baltimore — the 26th-largest U.S. TV market — for news last night.
NBC was first in ratings with a 2.2 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 8.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.6/8 — a night high — and 10.6 million viewers. “Night Shift” at 10 received a 1.3/4 and 5.4 million viewers.
ABC was second in ratings with a 1.7/5 and first in viewers with 11.5 million. “Dancing With the Stars” at 8 had a 2.0/6 and primetime-best 13 million viewers. “Castle” at 10 got a 1.3/4 and 8.5 million viewers.
CBS was third in ratings with a 1.5/5 and in viewers with 7.1 million. At 8, “2 Broke Girls” dropped 19 percent to a 1.7/6 and had 7.1 million viewers. At 8:30, “Mike & Molly” slipped 10 percent to a 1.8/6 and got 7.5 million viewers. At 9, “Stalker” returned up 17 percent with a 1.4/4 and attracted 6 million viewers. “NCIS: Los Angeles” received a 1.4/4 and 7.9 million viewers.
Fox was fourth in ratings with a 1.4/4 and in viewers with 4.1 million. “Gotham” at 8 posted a 1.5/5 and 4.6 million viewers. “The Following” at 9 got a 1.2/4 and 3.6 million viewers.
Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.9/3 and in viewers with 2.4 million.
Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in viewers with 1.7 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.4/1 and in viewers with 1.1 million. “The Originals” at 8 had a 0.5/2 and 1.1 million viewers. “Jane The Virgin” at 9 received a 0.4/1 and 1.1 million viewers.
