Tupac Biopic: Get First Long Look at Lead Actor in ‘All Eyez On Me’ Trailer (Video)

“Cops kill innocent black folk every day and Quail’s comin’ after me?”

The second teaser trailer for the Tupac Shakur biopic “All Eyez On Me” has dropped, revealing a whole lot more of the movie than the very brief first teaser.

With montages of scenes folded in, the new footage starts with the legendary rapper (played by Demetrius Shipp Jr.) criticizing then Vice President Dan Quail during a live performance.

“How many y’all heard about what the Vice President said about me?,” he asks the crowd. “Cops kill innocent black folk every day and Quail’s comin’ after me?”

The rapper’s reaction to that is simply flipping the bird to “these motherf—ers.”

Several glimpses of Suge Knight, played by Dominic L. Santana, are also in the trailer, showing the man long suspected of being implicated in Shakur’s murder will be thoroughly covered in the movie.

As seen in the first teaser, Shakur’s mother cautions her famous son: “Like all black leaders you have a bullseye on your back.”

Judging from the new 1:40 teaser, no stone will be left unturned. It’s now clear that “All Eyez On Me” covers the rapper’s rise to fame, his home life, how he survived multiple gun shots, his time in prison, his love of marijuana, romantic love affairs, the recording studio and more.

On June 16, the movie’s first teaser was posted to Instagram, showing little more than Shipp Jr.’s silhouette as Shakur. It was released on what would have been the rapper’s 45th birthday.
