For the third time this month, President Donald Trump attacked Fox News on Twitter Friday morning.
He wrote, “.@FoxNews is at it again. So different from what they used to be during the 2016 Primaries, & before – Proud Warriors! Now new Fox Polls, which have always been terrible to me (they had me losing BIG to Crooked Hillary), have me down to Sleepy Joe. Even considering…..”
He concluded, “….the fact that I have gone through a three year vicious Witch Hunt, perpetrated by the Lamestream Media in Collusion with Crooked and the Democrat Party, there can be NO WAY, with the greatest Economy in U.S. history, that I can be losing to the Sleepy One. KEEP AMERICA GREAT!”
The president was referring to a Fox News poll that showed Joe Biden with a commanding lead in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, which was released Thursday morning. Thursday night, he called into Sean Hannity’s program on Fox and spoke at length.
Wednesday, he said Fox “ain’t what it used to be.” Earlier this month, he tore into Fox in a series of tweets, slamming the right-leaning network for “loading up with Democrats” and forgetting “the people who got them there.”
Fox News has not commented, but anchor Julie Banderas responded to Trump on Twitter Friday: “That is incorrect. FOX News Opinion Polls are the public’s opinion not of @foxnews Interviews are conducted among a random national sample of 1,004 registered voters. 217 Landline and 787 cellphone numbers were randomly selected for inclusion in the survey.”
The White House did not immediately respond to TheWrap’ request for comment.
