“True Detective” creator Nic Pizzolatto has signed with CAA, TheWrap has learned.
The HBO showrunner delivered a sensation for the cable network with the mold-breaking crime drama starring Woody Harrelson, Matthew McConaughey and Michelle Monaghan. Season two premieres June 21 with a new case and cast in Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch and Vince Vaughn.
Pizzolatto had a hand in writing MGM’s forthcoming “The Magnificent Seven,” to star Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt. He’s also authored the short story collection “Between Here and the Yellow Sea’ and the novel “Galveston.”
Pizzolatto continues to be managed by Bard Dorros at Anonymous Content and represented by attorney Eric Brooks at Bloom Hergott.
