“America’s Got Talent” and “World of Dance” carried NBC to a cozy victory in TV ratings on Tuesday, when ABC had an accomplishment of its own. With a special “20/20: Triumph in Thailand,” the Disney broadcast network posted a summer high among adults 18-49 in its 9 p.m. time slot.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/8 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. A two-hour “AGT” starting at 8 landed a 2.0/9 and 11.4 million viewers. At 10, “World of Dance” posted a 1.3/6 and 6 million viewers.

ABC and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 0.6/3. ABC was third in total viewers with 2.9 million, Fox was fourth with 1.9 million.

For ABC, following reruns, the “20/20” on the rescue of the Thai boys’ soccer team got a 0.6/3 and 3.7 million viewers — a modest demo number for sure, but good for them in that hour. At 10, “The Last Defense” received a 0.5/2 and 2.7 million viewers.

For Fox, “Beat Shazam” at 8 had a 0.7/4 and 2.2 million viewers. At 9, “Love Connection” got a 0.5/2 and 1.6 million viewers.

CBS and Telemundo tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.5/2. CBS was second in total viewers with 4.7 million, airing all repeats; Telemundo was fifth with 1.3 million.

Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.4/2 and in viewers with 1.2 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 850,000. “The 100” at 8 had a 0.3/1 and 922,000 viewers. At 9, the premiere of “The Outpost” managed a 0.2/1 and 778,000 viewers.
