“Trial & Error” finished its freshman season quietly, but NBC still topped Tuesday in the key 18-49 demographic.
CBS finished first among total viewers, thanks to “NCIS.”
NBC was first in ratings with a 1.5 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 1.8/7 and 8.7 million viewers. At 10, the first “Trial & Error” had a 0.9/3 and 4.1 million viewers. The actual season finale at 10:30 settled for a 0.7/3 and 3.2 million viewers.
CBS was second in ratings with a 1.2/4 and in viewers with 11.1 million. “NCIS” at 8 scored a 1.3/5 and 13.1 million viewers. At 9, “Bull” put up a 1.1/4 and 10.3 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 10 got a 1.1/4 and 10 million viewers.
ABC was third in ratings with a 1.0/4 and in viewers with 3.6 million. “The Middle” at 8 received a 1.2/5 and 5.2 million viewers. At 8:30, “American Housewife” had a 1.2/4 and 4.4 million viewers. “Fresh Off the Boat” at 9 got a 1.0/4 and 3.7 million viewers. At 9:30, “Imaginary Mary” landed a 0.9/3 and 3.2 million viewers. “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” at 10 finished primetime to a 0.8/3 and 2.5 million viewers.
Fox was fourth in ratings with a 0.8/3 and in viewers with 2.1 million. “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” at 8 managed a 0.7/3 and 1.9 million viewers. Following a rerun, “Prison Break” at 9 concluded the net’s prime with a 0.9/3 and 2.5 million viewers.
Telemundo was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and sixth in viewers with 1.4 million.
Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and fifth in viewers with 1.6 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in viewers with 935,000. After a repeat, “iZombie” at 9 settled for a 0.3/1 and 930,000 viewers.
