Yes, there will be dinosaurs.
The long-awaited and oft-delayed Terrence Malick film "The Tree of Life," which stars Sean Penn and Brad Pitt in what is reportedly a beautiful and metaphysically-minded coming-of-age story, has long been rumored to somehow include dinosaurs and tackle issues of creation.
And on Thursday, the film's defiantly non-linear (and now revamped) website, Two Ways Through Life, added a new photo that does indeed show a dinosaur standing at the edge of a shallow river.
What does it mean? How does it relate to Pitt and Penn and Jessica Chastain? In what way can Malick possibly connect prehistoric life with the loss of innocence in the 1950s?
No idea, but this thing is looking more intriguing every day.

Some questions will no doubt be answered, and others raised, when Fox Searchlight debuts "The Tree of Life" at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16.
In the meantime, here's another photo, this one featuring a human being, added to the site within the last week.
