Tracy Morgan says he’s doing OK a day after being removed from Madison Square Garden during the New York Knicks vs. Miami Heat game for health reasons. He was seen leaving the arena in a wheelchair on Monday night after vomiting on the court.
“Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing OK now and doctors say it was food poisoning,” the comedian shared on Instagram on Tuesday. “Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you!”
His post included a photo of himself giving a thumbs up from his hospital bed, hooked up to multiple wires. The image also showed off his superfandom with a Knicks sticker on his phone.
“More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court, so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs,” Morgan further joked in his caption.
Indeed, the Knicks ended up winning the game 116-95 despite the nearly 10-minute delay.
The incident occurred late in the 3rd quarter during the St. Patrick’s Day game. Morgan, who sat courtside in a black, glittery hoodie, was escorted out shortly after 9:00 p.m. ET.
The “30 Rock” star is one of the team’s most famous fans and is regularly seen sitting courtside and decked out in team colors.
