Tracy Morgan will appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, the show announced Tuesday.
The visit with Jimmy Kimmel will mark his first late-night talk show appearance since the Morgan was seriously injured in an accident on the New Jersey Turnpike in June 2014, when a Walmart truck struck a limo carrying the comedian and several others.
Morgan will appear during the week of Oct. 19, for a special series of shows taped at Brooklyn’s Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House. Brooklyn Week for Kimmel will also include the first appearance of Donald Trump on the show since he announced his candidacy for President.
Other guests scheduled for the week include Bill Murray, Jay Z, Michael J. Fox, Misty Copeland, Bradley Cooper and Howard Stern.
The “Saturday Night Light” alum has slowly been making public appearances since the accident, most recently surprising Emmy audiences by appearing onstage to present Best Drama Series, the last award of the night.
He’s also signed on to his first movie since the accident, New Line comedy “Fist Fight,” opposite Charlie Day and Ice Cube.
