Tracy Morgan is taking another step forward on the comeback trail.
The “Saturday Night Live” alum, who last year was badly injured in a vehicle crash that left one person dead, will be hitting the road for a tour next year, the comedian announced Tuesday.
“Heading back out on the road to bring the funny. Come see me,” Morgan wrote.

The name of the road jaunt is, appropriately, Picking Up the Pieces.
According to Morgan’s website, the tour begins Feb. 5 in Hammond, Indiana, at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino. The site lists dates through May 28, though notes that other shows will be added.
Morgan was seriously injured in a June 2014 traffic collision on the New Jersey Turnpike after a Walmart truck struck the vehicle in which he and others were traveling.
Recently, Morgan has waded back into entertaining, returning to his old “SNL” stomping grounds to host the show last weekend. As reported exclusively by TheWrap last month, Morgan will also join Ice Cube and Charlie Day in the upcoming comedy “Fist Fight.”
