Sharpen up the knives and claws; "Top Chef" returns for another season of culinary wizardry and competitive back-biting on Oct. 2 at 10 p.m.
The 11th season of the Bravo series will find "Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi and her team of judges — Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, Hugh Acheson and Emeril Lagasse — marching into New Orleans to test the contestants' skills against the backdrop of the Big Easy.

Celebrity judges for the upcoming season include Jon Favreau, "Glee" star Lea Michelle, "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" actor Anthony Mackie and New Orleans music legends Dr. John and Kermit Ruffins.
