Following last year’s “Hamilton” sweep, expect that the wealth of Tony Awards will be shared more broadly when this year’s nominations are announced on Tuesday morning.
You can watch Tony winners Christopher Jackson (“Hamilton”) and Jane Krakowski (“Nine”) announce this year’s contenders starting at about 8:30 a.m. ET from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
The musical revival “Hello, Dolly!” starring Bette Midler and David Hyde Pierce is expected to draw a lot of attention, as well as the new musicals “Dear Evan Hansen” and “Come From Away.”
The Tonys, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing, will be awards on June 11 in a ceremony hosted by Oscar and Tony winner Kevin Spacey from NYC’s Radio City Music Hall.
