Jimmy Fallon made the “Today” team’s night on Monday when he made fun of Matt Lauer and Al Roker for their return to ice luge at the 2014 Winter Olympics during his first “Tonight Show” monologue.

“We are very proud that in his very first monologue, Jimmy made a little room for what is now a ‘Today’ show classic,” co-host Willie Geist said during Tuesday morning’s broadcast from Sochi.

Fallon showed his audience footage of a spandex-clad Lauer speeding down an ice luge track on top of Roker and a sled before joking, “You can’t unsee that.”

“That screaming actually came from their sled,” Fallon added.

Roker squeezed in his own jab at the late-night host by noting, “OK, maybe that’s the only joke that didn’t go so well.”
